We have an excellent opportunity to acquire an existing ACHC accredited hospice located in Orange County. This agency is a perfect fit for anyone looking to scale their current operation or those looking at entering the hospice market. *

LEASE: The current lease is at approximately $1,650 per month for a 400 square foot office located on the first floor of a professional office building. The lease is renewed on an annual basis every October. There is plenty of free parking, which would be perfect for the agency staff and agency visitors. *

This S-Corporation started its operations in 2017 with its initial CDPH licensure in 2019 and thereafter its initial accreditation in 2020. The current ACHC accreditation dates are November 2023 through November 2026. The agency comes to the market with no billing issues which will allow for an easy transition for the buyer to continue in a seamless manner. There should not be a 3-year rule impeding the sale of this business. *

GSA: Currently includes Orange County and Riverside County. *

CENSUS. At the time of this writing, the agency had +/- 4 patients, which if available, will come with the sale. *

FFE/INVENTORY. The agency is currently operating with all the FFE and inventory that would be needed to run a hospice agency. The seller will be including all FFE and inventory as a part of the sale. *

SOFTWARE/BILLING. The agency is currently using Hospice MD for its clinical and operational needs, which includes the billing being done by Hospice MD. *

TRANSITION. The seller does see herself as working with the buyer for an agreed period. The seller will make an earnest effort to keep her staff as intact as possible to create a smooth transition. The staff do not know about the sale.
MOTIVATION. The seller has opted to place the business for sale for personal reasons.*

VALUATION. This business is being priced at the current market value with intangible assets such as a patient census being included in the sale.*

SELLER PREFERS: (1) Buyer to have healthcare experience in operating a hospice (2) Buyer to have the funds available to proceed with a transaction (proof of funds), and (3) Buyer to have at a minimum a 3-month operational budget in reserve.

SELLER RECOMMENDS: (1) Buyer to have the ability to generate patient referrals, (2) Buyer to have the required professional team member to operate a hospice, (3) a professional team member to assist with the due diligence request/interpretation.
